To be ‘Possibilist’ you need to feel empowered
When you feel empowered at work you are more open to stepping into possibility thinking. You bring more innovation and change. Stepping into possibility thinking requires you to choose what you believe, how you feel, what you say and what you do.
Team X was under performing. Staff were reluctant to speak up in meetings, there was a culture of blame and complaining. As a result of learning about their Four Personal Powers through the Strong Minds at Work program they increased their empowerment by 25%. Their manager reported she had noticed an increase in them ‘Thinking outside the box’ and ‘Being more creative in their problem solving. ‘It was like they had given themselves permission to do things differently’.
